I worked for five years as a private beginning piano instructor, one year as a test prep instructor for Revolution Prep and two years as a test prep instructor for Kaplan, Inc. During that time I gained experience as a classroom instructor and private tutor on the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and various other tests and school subjects. I also have experience tutoring via Skype. In July of 2012 I earned Kaplan's Teacher of the Month Award for the Boston region. In 2012 I taught Biology and Chemistry to juniors and seniors from disadvantaged inner-city families through UConn Hartford's HCOP (Health Career Opportunities Program).
